Welcome to the Federal Executive Board's Disability Awareness Council site. This is the official site for the organization and the 22nd Annual Disability Employment and Awareness Conference.The Disability Employment and Awareness Council is a Federal Executive Board organization. Federal Executive Boards were established by President Kennedy in 1961 in major cities to promote volunteerism among federal executives and employees in local communities. Today, volunteers still run Federal Executive Boards.
The Disability Awareness Advisory Council has been actively meeting to prepare for the Annual Disability Employment and Awareness Conference at the largest catering facility in the state of Maryland: Martin's West Caterers.
This site is part of the new marketing and communications strategy that will employ social media and portable digital devices to share information as part of President Obama's transparency initiatives.
The organization is now actively using YouTube, Facebook, Google and Twitter to share information about the council, the FEB and all of the government agencies that make up the Federal Executive Board.

ANNUAL DISABILITY EMPLOYMENT & AWARENESS CONFERENCE
Baltimore, MD - The 22nd Annual Disability Employment and Awareness Conference has been scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Martin's West Caterers from 7:30 to 4:00 in the afternoon. As the title suggests this conference is focused on employment and employment-related issues for people with disabilities and employers.
The ensuing link provides a description of the conference and the ability to pay by credit card directly to the Federal Executive Board. There is no 3rd party involved in the payment process in compliance with federal government regulations. Your payment receipt is actually your ticket for the conference.
